I have had a song in my head since wednesday evening... It's driving me absolutely batty !

How does one get rid of a song like this ?

I have been listening to the radio all day.. but it's still there..

Maybe a weekend of non stop musicals and Disny movies will do the trick...

I am really looking forward to seeing Cookie again in a few weeks... Thanks to the Queen for letting us celebrate your birthday - we get an extra day off work.

I fly down early saturday and return late tuesday. Cookie will be away in Adelaide till Sunday arvo but It will be good to see him again.

I plan on cooking a nice big meal for him on his return - something delicious and a sweetie for dessert.

I don't know what kind of person i would be without him in my life.

A lifelong friend and my family forever.

a Brisbane state of mind....

For those of your reading this.... you should know that tonight is one of the most important sporting events for QLD

The State of Origin !

NSW vs QLD in a rugby match to end all rugby matches... well until game 2 happens anyways..

One sad thing this makes me realise is that in 2 weeks time.. it will be 1 year since I was in Canada... I missed game 2 and instead spent my time camping with gay cowboys...

Of course I will be supporting my QLD boys as I am a proud QLD Aussie !

One thing that is going to give me a lot of flack is the next sentence...

I am getting a bit tired of gay rights activism... I can see the appeal and the reasoning behind it... but it seems to be going no-where.

I understand a lot has changed in the last 15-20 yrs... but everything has.

I am all for equal rights... but im not sure if the whole gay community know what this means...if we have equal rights.. we are no longer considered a 'unique community'.

If we got equal rights.. the mardi gras and pride festivals should be cancelled... there is nothing anymore to celebrate - we are no longer a part of a unique diverse community - we are the same as everyone else.

Or if they keep the pride festivals - does that mean they are allowed to have a straight pride festival ?? I highly doubt it.

Yes i want the right to marry who I want to - and to be able to feel un judged when I walk down the street with my partner hand in hand.

but this seems a long way off... and I'm ok with that.

I would like to apologise to Aaron in advance for this cos i know he is gonna hate this post... LOL..

Well well well...
I am terribly sorry I haven't blogged for a while.. I put it down to laziness.

I wish I had more to say... but my break is over for now...

We are moving to new building soon and using a new puter system.. lots going on.

In regards to my private life... not much happening..

well today i got my results from the internal interviews i had...

i didnt get either job :(

i was told that i interviewed great and my resume was fantastic .. but there was someone better... aint that a kick in the pants :(

i guess now i will try next year :)

thats not too far off... i look forward to seeing whats happening actually.. big changes..

Well it's that time of year again.... in a few days time it'll be Christmas and all through the house not a creature is stirring not even a mouse..

oh wait that's not a mouse, that's my family screaming at each other about things that are totally pointless.

Anyway this year my sister is coming home from Italy where she has lived for the past year and she is back for about 3 weeks then she goes home.

It will be really good to see her as we are the two oldest and we kinda grew up together.. but I just know that my mother is going to make it all about her.

Roll out the red carpet her she comes !! ... it's miss CO-DEPENDANT !! YAY !!

People say i'm bitter, but I'm really not.

We kinda grew apart a few yrs ago and we don't really have anything in common so I let her do her thing... this of course to her means I'm ignoring her.

Oh what i would give to skip this years xmas at my mother's house.

I'll get through it.. i have my Bundy n coke :)
